Hello, my name is Janet and I am delighted to be bringing Music Bugs to the Royston and South Cambridgeshire area!

Music Bugs classes are sensory and interactive music and singing classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Through our gently structured sessions, babies and young children can enjoy a variety of musical and sensory experiences, through rhymes, counting songs, action songs and knee bouncers, using musical instruments, puppets, teddies, bubbles and more!

My background is in Early Years and Primary education. I am a qualified teacher and have taught in a number of schools in Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 classes. I have also worked as a childminder and in pre-schools, and am involved in church children’s work. I have a wealth of experience working with young children and their families and am passionate about supporting their development in these vital first few years.

Music has always been part of my life, and I currently enjoy being part of amateur music groups, playing the flute and singing. As a family we all enjoy music, and I loved attending music groups with my own daughters when they were young.

I really look forward to meeting lots of babies, toddlers and their families as we bring Music Bugs to a new area!
