At Music Bugs, we provide gently structured, play-based sessions for children from birth where they can develop, grow and have fun in a multi-sensory environment. Our classes are full of fun and excitement with a large variety of fantastic props such as puppets, parachutes, pom poms, bubble machines, floaty scarves and teddies. We will sing nursery rhymes, counting songs, finger play rhymes, knee bouncers and action songs and allow you and your child to relax, have fun together and make lots of new friends!
About me
Hello, my name is Catriona and I run Music Bugs classes throughout Central Edinburgh.
I’ve worked with young children for the last 5 years and absolutely love it! I trained to be a music teacher but discovered I got so much more out of working with little ones aged 0-5 and so many more smiles every day!
Why not book some taster sessions and join us for some serious fun and music making?
Please keep checking my webpage or check out my Facebook page for updates.

Some of the lovely feedback we've received from Music Bugs parents
I’ve been going to Music Bugs since my first was 8 weeks old – he’s 4 next week – and he has loved it the whole time! His little sister now joins him and loves it just as much. I can’t think of any other classes that are as engaging for such a wide age range and I love that I’m able to take both of them to the same class. They have made so many wonderful memories together at Music Bugs and both point to the hall anytime we drive past, excitedly asking when we’re next going.

We have been attending Music Bugs since my daughter was 8 weeks old, she is now 3 and a half and still loves her weekly classes. Catriona makes the classes extremely engaging with lots of fun props and songs throughout, she really puts a lot of effort into each week.
