York, Haxby, Dringhouses, Knaresborough, Ripon and Wetherby.
Hello, my name is Lynne and I would like to welcome you to Music Bugs in York, it’s lovely to meet you.
I run music activity classes for your baby, toddler and preschooler in York and surrounding areas including Haxby, Dringhouses, Knaresborough, Ripon and Wetherby. We’d love you to join us, so do check out our current class list here.
I have two big Bugs of my own and am a Grandma of a growing army of little Bugs! I have worked in education all of my life and have seen first hand how music and play boost child development.
Music Bugs is all about having fun and exploring music together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I will be providing gently, structured play-based sessions where your children can develop, grow and explore in a multi-sensory environment. Our 40 minute classes include a wide variety of props including parachutes, pom-poms, hobby horses, bubbles, scarves, teddies, puppets and lots of wonderful percussion instruments. We will be singing nursery rhymes, counting songs, fingerplay rhymes, knee bouncers and action songs. Our award winning sessions are wonderful for developing confidence, co-ordination and independence, fine and gross motor control, early literacy and social skills, numeracy and speech and language.
If you have any questions about our classes, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I look forward to welcoming you and your children to our classes.
