Including Cumbernauld, Milngavie, Lenzie, Bishopbriggs, Scotstoun and Partick.
Welcome to Music Bugs Glasgow North. My name is Amy and I run fun, lively and entertaining music and singing classes for pre-school children and their grown ups. For details of our baby, toddler and pre-school classes in the Glasgow area, please click here.
Music Bugs is all about having fun and exploring music together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We provide gently structured, play-based sessions where children can develop, grow and have fun in a multi-sensory environment. Our 40-minute classes are full of excitement with a huge variety of props including puppets, parachutes, pom poms, bubble machines, floaty scarves, teddies, hobby horses and lots of tactile percussion instruments. We sing nursery rhymes, counting songs, finger-play rhymes, knee bouncers and action songs.
I’m a music graduate and trained singer with a background working in the music business. I also have a wee boy of my own and have loved watching him respond to singing since the day he was born. Children have a natural enthusiasm for music and singing and this plays a vital role in the development of early language and communication skills as well as social and physical development.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and your little ones very soon.
Some of the lovely feedback we've received from Music Bugs parents
It was our first time at Music Bugs today and we loved it! It felt very relaxed, the kids had plenty of time with the instruments before putting them away and moving on to something else.
We enjoyed the songs and Evan was sleeping within 2 mins of getting back in the car to go home. Can’t wait until next week!

Had a great time at our first class on Thursday. It was very easy to join in right from the first class. Fergus had a fantastic time trying out all the instruments. He has been singing or humming the songs all day today, and definitely wants another shot of the tiny bears. Amy is great with all the wee ones – quite a feat to keep all ages from 0-4 engaged at the same time, but she did it brilliantly.
