And the surrounding areas...
My name is Grace, I’m married to Fraser and we have two little girls aged 10 months and 3 years. As a family, we love to do all sorts of things but music is a big part of our day.
Singing with your child is one of the most important and enriching activities that you can do and research has shown that music and singing are an excellent way to develop early language and communication skills. As a parent and former Class Leader for the business I have seen the benefits of this myself.
At Music Bugs, our aim is not to teach music, but to allow and encourage young children to develop, grow and explore the world around them through music and song. Participation in music and singing classes is a great way for children to socialise and develop in a creative and stimulating environment. In addition, research has shown that singing songs and rhymes on a regular basis helps to widen your child’s vocabulary and listening skills which are an essential part of learning to read, write and communicate.
Our new term of classes which can be found on our ‘Classes’ page restart in September 2017. If you have any questions about our classes, please get in touch.
Some of the lovely feedback we've received from Music Bugs parents
“The props are fantastic and Caitlin loves the Hobby Horses and the instruments. I really like the idea that old nursery rhymes are included in the session as well as lots of new songs”. Jennifer, Mum to Caitlin
Absolutely love the Hobby Horses!
