Welcome to Music Bugs - sensory music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Hello, my name is Jacqui and I am the franchisee for North East Bristol and South Wiltshire.

My territory covers Calne, Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Melksham, Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Chipping Sodbury, Yate and all the areas in between!

After leaving school I spent 6 years training within the early years sector before becoming a Primary School teacher in Swindon where I have worked for the past 5 years.

I have seen first hand both as a teacher and a parent the positive difference music can make to development in those vital first years. After enjoying music classes with both my children and seeing them blossom I jumped at the chance to be a Music Bugs franchisee.

I am really looking forward to working with local families and having fun making music together!

Everyone is welcome to attend Music Bugs in North and West Wiltshire for a FREE trial session (this can be at anytime in the term!). After this sessions are £4 paid on a termly or part termly basis. Younger siblings under the age of 12 months attend for free and we also offer a number of discounts for twins, older siblings and childminders. Please call Jacqui on 0844 578 1014 for details. 'We joined Music Bugs when Sophie was 6 months old and I was amazed how much she enjoyed it and still does now. We sing the songs at home and she loves it when she hears the songs elsewhere. She has learnt so much from the classes and I really feel it has helped with her co-ordination and doesn't take her long each week before she's pinched Spot the dog!' “Jasmine loves attending Music Bugs because she meets other children there, plays with the toys and enjoys her favourite song Dingle Dangle Scarecrow (and lying on the floor!),” Caroline, mum to Jasmine aged 2.

'I joined Music Bugs because I wanted my daughter to interact with other children without the worry of being left on her own. So it was great that I could join in too. After just a couple of sessions she was much more settled and confident. She loves the music, actions and especially having a dance! Her favourites are bubbles & hokey cokey.
She sings away at home now, knowing most of the words and is always trying to get the family to do the actions.
I really believe her confidence has grown and think it's helped in her transition to pre-school - thank you.'

'I chose Music Bugs because I wanted to do join a class that was fun and interactive for Laura and I to enjoy together. As a result of going to Music Bugs we have both made friends too. Laura gets very excited about going to the classes and the best part is that she now sings the songs she has learnt there at home.' Chris mum to Laura, 2.

'I chose Music Bugs because the emphasis is always on fun, the relaxed and active structure of the classes allow all children to participate at their own level and it is totally unpretentious! Evan, Finn, George and Harri loved riding the hobby horses and in true parent participation I loved banging the coconut shells too! 'Because its just me & Sam all day I wanted to join a few local groups to meet new people and to help Sam with his social development. I think that Music Bugs has helped him with his confidence and his favorite activity is definatelty the parachute!' Sarah, mum to Sam aged 18 months.

New Calne Class!!

Music Bugs will be running sessions at Jesters Adventure Play Centre on Tuesday mornings. Everyone who attends the class will be welcome to stay-and-play afterwards for a reduced rate (£2.50 for children over 18 months and their grown up, or £2 for children under 18 months and their grown up)
